I can’t imagine laying a paintbrush to the exterior of any of my cars, let alone a Lambo. But one trusting Lamborghini owner allowed Miami artist Alexander Mijares to do just that. The result of his efforts is actually quite stunning, and makes the already distinctive Gallardo just that much more eye candy for bystanders, transforming the matte blue car into an art exhibition on wheels. While I’m not sure that any paint job is ever as good as the factory one, I have to say I’m quite impressed by the work that Mijares did to this Lamborghini.

Bentley never ceases to amaze with some of the options that they offer on their high-end luxury cars and SUVs. You can get things like headliners with fiber optic stars embedded, and special high-end picnic baskets for the trunk complete with champagne coolers.

When you are essentially hand stitching the leather interior of a luxury car like the Aston Martin Vanquish, you can bet that a number of scraps pieces of leather are tossed out. I’d assume that many of those scrap pieces are simply thrown away.

In an obvious attempt to stay cool and relevant, Mercedes-Benz recently hooked up with the Panda-masked German rapper CRO to let him loose with some spray paint cans to see what kind of art he could make out of a new CLA.

In 1975, renowned artist Alexander Calder transformed a BMW 3.0 CSL into a work of art on wheels. But rather than lock the car up in a gallery, BMW raced Calder’s automotive fantasy at the 1975 Le Mans 24-Hour Race.

A while back, we featured a Lamborghini Aventador embellished by French artist Duaiv. Now he’s back with another painted car, a Ferarri FF. This luscious FF has been wrapped then painted with abstract red, pink, purple and orange strokes which conjure images of a sunset.

When I first saw this intricately detailed vehicle, I assumed it was one of those camouflage wraps they use to conceal the identity of new cars while they’re being tested. But upon closer inspection, it turns out this is actually an amazing paintjob. What you’re looking at here is a 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R that’s been hand-embellished with Sharpie permanent markers.

There are few cars more iconic than the 1969 Le Mans Porsche 917K racer – especially wrapped up in the powder blue, white and orange Gulf livery. While most of us will never have one of these very special cars in our collections, you’ve still got a chance to own one – to hang on your wall, at least.

The guys at Pop Chart Labs put together this great poster that’s perfect for the automotive enthusiast. The 24″ x 36″ poster catalogs 108 classic (and a few not so classic) American cars dating from 1895 to 2015.

The Jaguar F-Type is a beautiful car in its own right, but this particular F-Type Coupé isn’t one you’ll be seeing at dealerships any time soon. Jaguar recently asked fans to submit art and imagery that reflects the concept of “Fearless Design” via its social media channels.

Artist Andreas Preis recently put his paintbrush to the exterior of a MINI Paceman, and the result is quite amazing. Preis is known for his bold and dynamic images of animals, and that same theme comes through in his Snow Beast MINI.
