Have you always wanted to ride around town in the Batmobile? Well, if your last name is Wayne, and you’ve got 200 grand lying around, this one is ready to roll out of your personal Batcave.

The Tumbler from the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy is arguably the coolest vehicle the Dark Knight has ever driven. Well, that and the batpod motorcycle that emerges from its front. While nothing will ever live up to the original, you could build your own with the help of a donor vehicle, some shop skills, and a little elbow grease.

If you have played the video game Batman: Arkham Knight, you will recognize the design of the Batmobile in this sweet go-kart. This thing will make you the envy of every kid on the block, and more than a few parents.

The Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy was the closest thing to the comic book version in Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. It was big, armored and as tough as Mickey Rourke’s facial skin. Basically, it was Bruce Wayne badassery in the best of ways.

One of the coolest things about Batman, other than being a billionaire ninja, is that he has the Batmobile and other cool toys. That car has always been one of the coolest things about the Caped Crusader.

I always thought that George Barris’ custom Lincoln Futura was the first Batmobile. But it turns out that back in the early 1960s, there was a prior Batmobile, inspired by the car seen in the pages of the DC Comics series (though certainly not a dead ringer).

It’s not often that a concept car has as much influence on popular culture as the 1955 Lincoln Futura. After all, it served as the basis for the Batmobile from the late 1960s Batman TV series with Adam West and Burt Ward.
