I’m going to withhold my final judgment until I see the Volkswagen BUDD-e concept in the flesh. Frankly, the renderings make it hard to tell what the car will really be like. This is the concept that we mentioned a week or so back that would be a sort of modern Microbus.

I’ve mentioned a few times that CES has become a place for automakers to unveil new production cars, tech, and concepts. CES 2016 is no exception and one of the first concepts we have seen from the show is the Faraday Future FFZERO1.

Back in high school, I knew a dude that had this perfectly restored Volkswagen Microbus from the ’60s he drove everywhere. It was seriously cool, but not much for drifting. He flipped it on its side trying to slide into the parking lot one day.

Ford has announced that the 2017 Ford GT supercar has been chosen as the official car of CES 2016. As such, the car will be on display at CES 2016 in all its swoopy and sexy glory.

Autonomous cars are the future of driving and we all know they are coming. Google and a slew of automakers are testing self-driving cars right now to reduce accidents and traffic thanks to their ability to drive with no input from a distracted human.
