Say it with us now… “Corrrrrr-doh-ba.” Now “Soft Corinthian leather.” Yes, if you’re old enough to remember this classic 1975 car commercial starring none other than Fantasy Island’s Ricardo Montalbán, you know exactly what we’re talking about.

Concepts from Future Past: Ghia Gilda Streamline X Coupe
During it partnership in the ’50s, Chrysler teamed up with famed Italian design firm Carrozzeria Ghia to create a unique concept car, and the results were quite spectacular. Ghia’s Giovanni Savonuzzi created the Streamline X to fulfill Chrysler design boss Virgil Exner wishes for a space age future car that incorporated elements of jet planes and rocket ships into its styling. Nicknamed “Gilda” after the 1946 Rita Hayworth classic film, the Streamline X really did look like a rocketship on wheels.

Review: 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

Review: 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

Especially when they’re mated to the all-wheel drive system that transfers 70% of torque to the rear wheels, and the 295 horsepower Pentastar V6 engine.
