Dodge Challenger Gt

Over the years, I’ve driven a number of vehicles based on FCA’s full-size car platform, which underpins the Dodge Challenger, Charger, and Chrysler 300. Most of the models I’ve been in have been muscular rear-wheel drive cars with giant HEMI V8s, and crazy amounts of horsepower.

Let’s cut to the chase. If you’re buying a V6 Challenger for whatever reason, and you live in a part of the country where it snows, this is now the base Challenger to buy. The rear-wheel drive shouldn’t even be a consideration for you.

I really like the style of the Dodge Challenger, but there is no way I would ever buy one with the anemic V6. The normal Hemi V8s leave the car underperforming compared to the competition thanks to the heavy nature of the car, and the V6 makes things much worse.
