Ford makes some pretty cool performance cars. One of those cool cars is the Focus RS, which is out of production stateside. As close as you can get to a Focus RS here is the new 2020 2.3L High Performance Package Mustang.

Of all the classic Mustangs, the most coveted tend to be the 1967-1970 fastback models. Of those, even more desirable are the Shelby version. Recently, a classic 1968 Shelby GT500 was found in a barn, after sitting there for years.

The current generation Mustang isn’t exactly a lightweight, unless you compare it to the porky muscle cars like the Charger and Challenger. Now, a rumor is going around that will make Mustang fans ill. The rumor, reported by Automobile Magazine, claims that the next generation Mustang will roll on the flexible CD6 architecture to be shared with the Explorer, Aviator, and next-gen Edge SUV.

Ford has been teasing us with all sorts of details on the 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang, and we are excited. We know it will have different exhaust modes and over 700 hp. The company is is now talking up some of the colors that will be offered on the ride.

We are always on board for Mustangs with more power around here. Ford has turned in some documents to the NHTSA, which, among many other things, is the agency responsible for the government database of Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs).

The 2020 Ford Mustang GT500 looks awesome on paper, we all know it. A supercharged V8 with over 700 hp and quick-shifting flappy paddle gearbox? Yes, please. All we really want to know is when we can get it, how much it will cost, and how deep will dealers stick buyers with the “market adjustment” shank.

I have a very soft spot in my heart for the Fox Body Mustang that ended its production run in 1993. The most awesome of those Fox body cars was the 1993 Cobra R, and like many Mustang enthusiasts, I have always wanted one.

When Ford says its new Mustang Shelby GT500 makes “more than 700 hp,” it begs the question: “just how much more?” Well one supposedly leaked advertisement for Ford Performance says that the supercharged 5.2-liter V8 under its hood makes 755 horses.

Aviar Motors, an EV maker out of Russia has taken the style of an iconic ’60s muscle car and turned it into a modern EV. The ride is called the Aviar R67, and it looks a whole lot like a 1967 Mustang.

December is here folks, and Ford is giving Mustang fans a gift next month that should excite you. There have been plenty of teases and rumors about the GT500 Mustang coming back, and now we’ve got another bit of the car to look at.

Could there be a better way to close out 2018 than with a week-long review of Ford’s brilliantly revised Pony Car? Actually there is, and it’s called the Mustang GT Performance Package 2. When I first drove the new GT back in 2017, I was deeply impressed by the heavily revised Mustang. 

Ford Mustangs of the late ’60s are becoming increasingly rare as the years pass, and more are lost to the rust pile and accidents. Finding examples hidden away in barns is a big deal, and people get excited.

SEMA is just around the corner, and that means all manner of sweet custom cars will be on display in Las Vegas yet again. Each year a bunch of the cars on hand are based on the Ford Mustang.

Ford fans, particularly Mustang fans, were not happy in the slightest with the automaker when word surfaced that it was working on an electric crossover that not only would have Mustang styling cues, but that also might be called the “Mach 1.”
