When Fiat Chrysler Automobiles debuted the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, some people on the Internet (including myself) proclaimed that we wanted them to “Hellcat all the things!” Later that year, we saw the Charger Hellcat. But since then, we haven’t seen much more Hellcatting.

Back in the ’60s, Dodge had some bright and iconic paint colors that had equally iconic names. One of those colors was the purple hue known as “Plum Crazy.” That color has recently made a comeback, and is now available for a longer time than expected.

Star Wars fans have been waiting for this week for months. The Force Awakens hits theaters on the 18th. To celebrate the release of the new film, Dodge has some special cars cruising the streets of Los Angeles.

If you were hoping to get your hands on a new Hellcat for 2016, Dodge has done something that won’t make you happy. The company has announced some significant price increases on the Challenger and Charger Hellcat models for the 2016 model year.

My favorite car of the moment has to be the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. First of all, I love it’s simple, old-school, muscle macho lines and understated hood scoop. It just looks like it wants to punch you in the face for no reason at all.

If you have the money lying around and you have your heart set on a massively powerful sports car, the Dodge  Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcats are worth a look. Sadly, in 2015 Dodge couldn’t make enough Hellcats leaving many who wanted one unable to buy one.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT has been one of the most powerful SUVs you can buy. Now, word on the street is that Jeep will soon be benefitting from Dodge’s insane Hellcat engine for a future iteration of the Grand Cherokee.

We’ve seen the Tesla Model S go up against the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Here’s Motor Trend matching the P85D with the Challenger’s sedan brother. But instead of judging their merits on one – or a billion – quarter mile races, the overall outcome of which will most likely be in the electric sedan’s favor, Head 2 Head host Jonny Lieberman chose to weigh which car is “the ultimate American badass.”

We have seen the Tesla Model S P85D dominating some very powerful cars on the streets and racetracks with its insane acceleration. We have seen the P85D battle a Ferrari, Corvette, and several other cars. One of those other cars the P85D raced was the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

If you have an order in for one of the awesome Dodge Challenger or Charger Hellcats and you haven’t received your car just yet, you should be worried. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has stepped in and said that it fears its dealership networks are setting customers up for disappointment on Hellcat models.

While at a media preview event before the opening of the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, I had the chance to get up close and personal with the new 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, and boy does it look great.

YouTuber BigTruckSeriesReview got sick and tired of seeing videos in which the almighty 700+ horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat got its ass handed to it in drag races. At least in some part, the losses appear to have less to do with the car’s capabilities than the drivers behind the wheel, so he put together this snarky video to educate Hellcat owners on what they need to do if they want to actually win a drag race.

When it comes to American muscle, two of the most powerful cars to ever be produced by Dodge and Chevrolet are the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and the Camaro ZL1. On paper at least, the Hellcat seems more suited for the drag strip while the ZL1 has enough handling thrown in to make a decent track day weapon at the road course.
