Huracan

Back over the weekend, I was driving home after lunch with my family and happened on a Lamborghini Huracán in traffic. I always thought the Countach and Gallardo were the best looking Lambo cars. I was wrong.

Being a child of the ’80s, if you say “Lamborghini,” the car I immediately think of is the Countach. This is the car that got me into cars growing up after seeing it on screen in Cannonball Run and hearing that V12 wail.

Lamborghini has officially announced the GT3 race version of the Huracán LP 610-4 supercar. The new Lambo is ready to compete in the Blancpain Endurance Series in Europe this season, where it will race alongside its sister, the Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo.

Lamborghini has released a teaser video showing its camouflaged Huracán LP 610-4 Super Trofeo in action tearing around a race track.The currently camouflaged racing version of the Huracán will make its full public debut on August 15, 2014 at The Quail event in Carmel, California.
