In the last decade or so, Hyundai has really stepped up their quality, features, and design. Now, the Korean automaker is upping their performance game too. At the 2019 NAIAS, Hyundai revealed the first of it’s US production cars from its new N Line performance series, the 2019 Elantra GT N Line.

“There’s no such thing as a bad car nowadays,” the experts say, “Hell, just look at how good Korean cars have become over the years!” This may be true now, but back in 2005 I would have been far more prone to disagree.

In the past few years, hatchbacks have grown some in popularity in the United States, but buyers still ultimately prefer the higher-riding crossover or full-on SUV for hauling themselves and their families around. For those who recognize the benefits of a hatchback, the new Hyundai Elantra GT is one they should seriously look at, because it checks all the boxes for a good car with an additional dosage of fun.
