Lamborghini Aventador

Japanese tuning company Liberty Walk has been making incredible body kits for Lamborghinis for a long time. The company has now revealed its last ever Aventador body kit, called the Silhouette Works GT-Evo. The body kit is extremely expensive, with production limited to only 20 units costing $187,000 for full carbon fiber.

Popular vehicles, like the Ford F-150, sell more than 10,000 units per week. But it took Lamborghini nine years to reach that number with its Aventador supercar. The Italian sportscar company recently announced that it produced chassis number 10,000, which is a high-end model destined for the Thai market.

Lamborghini has pulled the wraps off a new special limited edition version of the Aventador meant to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the launch of the classic Lamborghini Miura. The special car is called the Lamborghini Aventador Miura Hommage and is at its core is a stock Aventador with special paint and trim.

In 2013, Tokyo-based filmmaker Luke Huxham made a short documentary called Underground Hero: Love to Hate Me, about the super car subculture in Japan in which alleged Yakuza gang members customize their Lambos to insane levels.

The Lamborghini Aventador had a big problem in the shape of a smaller car: the Lamborghini Huracan. The Huracan was cheaper, faster, and in many’s eyes, prettier than the Aventador. Now the V12 Aventador has a lot more bragging rights than just those two cylinders and a bigger price tag.
