Lamborghini Huracan

Lamborghini has had a long line of racing cars that it builds for use in its single-make racing series. The last version of the car was called the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO, and Lamborghini has now revealed the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2.

Lamborghini has pulled the wraps off of its new Huracán EVO Spyder, and the car is looking pretty awesome. It features an electro-hydraulic, lightweight, soft top for open-air driving. The design of the top allows the car to be aerodynamic with the roof up or down.

Lamborghini has rolled out the Huracán Performante Spyder, the open-air version of its most powerful Huracán. The car uses lots of forged carbon fiber technology to shed 77 pounds compared to the normal Huracán Spyder. Power comes from a 5.2L V10 making 640 hp and 443 lb-ft.

The “entry level” Lamborghini Huracán is a very impressive supercar in its own right – with the dramatic styling that Lambo is known for, and driven by a crazy powerful 600+hp V10 that can launch it to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds.

What do you do if you want a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder, but a stock Lambo is still too boring for you? You go to the folks at Novitec and you buy the Novitec N-Largo. The car starts life as a Huracan Spyder, but it is heavily massaged to bring a lot more performance to the table.

Lamborghini gifted the coolest cop car to the Italian Highway Patrol this week. The cruiser is a Lamborghini Huracán that is specially outfitted for police duty. It’s been painted in the official blue color of the police force and has graphics that look like the Italian flag.

The guys over at Motor Trend’s Ignition recently got their mitts on a 2016 Lamborghini Huracán LP 580-2. This is the rear-wheel drive Huracán, and the one that I would want the most. If you want to do some track work, RWD is the way to go.

AWD cars are all fine and good, but if you want to have the most fun in a sports car, RWD is where it’s at. Lamborghini knows this and has a new special version of the Huracan that ditches the front drive, and sends 100% of its power to the rear axle for some drop-top driving fun.

Lamborghini has unveiled some new after sales packages for the Huracán that can be installed by the dealer. The aerodynamics kit includes a front splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser with a large rear wing. 

I’ve been at the track a few times when rich guys roll up in their Lamborghini or Ferraris and take to the track. Almost without exception they go slowly, and are timid about wringing out their Italian beasts.

I’ve done some stupid stuff behind the wheel of a car that didn’t quite go as planned. I’ve always just laughed it off and taken the ribbings from the folks who witnessed. Driver Tony Quinn was participating in the Targa Tasmania race and took his Lamborghini Huracán into the dirt for a bit.

A Lamborghini Huracan is a very fast exotic car right out of the box. If you take that already fast and glorious sounding Italian car and strap on some turbos and other go fast parts, you end up with some sexy automotive insanity.

I always liked the Lamborghini Gallardo; I thought it was one of the best-looking cars Lambo had ever made. When the Gallardo was retired, the replacement turned out to be even sexier. That replacement is the Huracán and it looks like a mini Aventador to me.

In the past, I have written mean, mean things about Mansory. I’ll admit that they were mean, but we must also all acknowledge that they were called for, totally warranted, and entirely true. Mansory has had a history of just throwing money at things and then selling them for even more money.
