Nissan Completes First All-Electric Lap of Le Mans
Nissan made motorsport history when its all-electric ZEOD RC completed the first all-electric lap at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Driver Wolfgang Reip was the first winner of Nissan’s Gran Turismo Academy and took the Nissan ZEOD RC racer successfully around the 8.5-mile circuit using only electric power pushing the car’s two 110 kilowatt electric motors.
