LEGO Japan, Legoland Japan, and Toyota Gazoo Racing teamed up to create an incredible 1:1 scale replica of the 2021 GR Supra. Built to celebrate 35 years of Supra, the model is made from an insane 477,303 LEGO bricks and took builders took roughly 2400 hours to design and assemble.

McLaren and LEGO have teamed up to deliver the new Speed Champions McLaren Elva kit. While some LEGO hypercars available are extremely complicated and expensive Technic kits, this one doesn’t fall into that category. This tiny replica of one of the most exclusive open-top speedsters in the world has just 263 pieces.

While the modern-day Fiat 500 may be going away here in the U.S., it’s still an iconic little car, with lots of fans around the globe since its inception way back in 1957. To celebrate the heritage of the 500, LEGO has announced the release of a new Creator set based on the classic version of Italian subcompact.

The Nissan GT-R is one of the best cars I’ve ever driven, and it continues to be a favorite among gearheads around the world. To celebrate the illustrious history of the GT-R brand, Nissan and LEGO will soon release a model based on the modern day GT-R NISMO.

One of my favorite car designs of all time has to be the 1970 Superbird. Plymouth’s crazy muscle car was just so fantastically over the top with that massive wing out back, and a sharpened grille that looked ready to slice its way through the air.

Hot on the heels of releasing its amazing LEGO Technic scale model of the Bugatti Chiron, designers and engineers from LEGO have created something truly epic – a full-size, driveable replica of the Chiron, made almost entirely from LEGO Technic parts.

Say what you will about handmade supercars, but McLaren continues to create some of the most amazing extreme machines ever to grace the asphalt. Unfortunately, getting a vehicle of this caliber for a week-long review is easier said than done, and while there is a very good chance that I will be getting ahold of a 720S next spring, the desire to tinker with one today remains insatiably strong.

Occasionally, going out on a limb and trying the unbranded version of a particular product pays off in spades. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does the feeling you get can often be both of surprise and satisfaction.
