A little more than a year ago, I drove the last generation Mazda CX-9, and I rather enjoyed it. But with the completely redesigned 2016 model, the CX-9 has gotten even better – especially when it comes to styling and driving characteristics.

I love the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata. It’s my favorite of all four generations of Miata, and it’s easily one of the best cars on sale. Recently I had a chance to take one for a spin in South Carolina, and it just reaffirmed how much I love the car.

Hilton Head is the vacation destination of many of the country’s well-to-dos. It’s a paradise in South Carolina with endless opportunities, including fine dining, fine golf, and kayaking with dolphins. In a place like this, driving a luxury vehicle isn’t only an option, it’s expected.

The first of the MX-5 RF retractable roof hardtop sports cars were the Launch Edition offerings and only 1000 of those were available for purchase. To coincide with the first cars starting to roll off of the production line, Mazda has announced the pricing on the mass-production RF versions in the Club Sport and Grand Touring levels.

I’ve long wanted a coupe edition of the Mazda MX-5, and as close as we are likely to get is the 2017 MX-5 RF. We mentioned before that only 1,000 buyers would get to own the RF Launch Edition and that pre-order reprocess has begun.

The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata is a truly awesome little sports car. It handles like an amusement park ride, looks great, and is truly engaging to drive. Thanks to Mazda’s MX-5 Experience, drivers around the country have been given the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an 2016 MX-5 for themselves. 

I am more that a bit sad that the days of the affordable performance car are waning. You can still get a decent deal on a Mustang GT, but most Japanese sports cars these days with similar power are very expensive.

One of the coolest MX-5 Miatas that Mazda has shown off in years was the fastback retractable roof version of the new ND, dubbed the MX-5 RF. The launch version of the car is in the works and it will be just like the show version that we first saw.

It has been a long time since Isuzu sold anything other than commercial style trucks here in the U.S. It has been about as many years since Mazda sold a truck here as well. With the medium-size pickup truck market heating up, the two Japanese automakers have teamed up to create a new truck.

Mazda has announced a milestone in MX-5 production with the millionth car rolling off the assembly line since production kicked off in April 1989. The MX-5/Miata is one of the most raced cars in the world with entire racing series dedicated to the nimble little roadster.

Mazda is set to debut a new crossover SUV in China. Ahead of the official, unveil of the new vehicle, some teaser shots have been offered, and the CX-4 appears to be a very nice looking little crossover.

The media days at the 2016 New York International Auto Show are officially over, and the public is knocking down the doors to get inside. They’re going to have the privilege feasting their eyes on some super sexy hardware, including the show stealing 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF, or Retractable Fastback.

Mazda has announced the pricing for its all-new 2016 CX-9 full-size SUV. The SUV has three rows of seating and promises to be fun to drive. The vehicle will start at $31,520 and can go for around $13,000 more than that starting price if fully loaded.

Mazda recently invited me and a number of journalists to the frigid, snow-covered roads of Crested Butte, Colorado to learn how their vehicles handle in extreme weather. While I’d love to talk entirely about the time I spent hooning around the ice in a MX-5 Miata, that was simply icing on the frozen cake.

Mazda is headed to the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon to show off some concept cars and one of them needs to be built post haste. That car is the Roadster RS Racing Concept and it is a sinister looking black MX-5 with an aero kit trimmed in red.
