Mazda’s CX-9 sits at the top of the size range for the company’s SUVs. It’s a full seven passenger vehicle, offering tons of space for people and cargo. In addition to space, it’s surprisingly zippy, and handles well for an SUV of its size.

When I was turning 16, all I could think about when it came to getting my first car was having an old British roadster like an MGB or Triumph. Fast forward a few months and I was the owner of a 1975 Triumph Spitfire with a hard top and rotting interior.

I get quite jealous when other writers get to drive cars I want to drive before I do. One of the cars I want to drive the most is the 2016 Mazda MX-5. I know the new model has less power than the old car offered, but anyone who has driven an MX-5 or Miata will tell you power isn’t everything.

One of the things that can be difficult to explain to someone in words is what exactly balance is when it comes to a car. I always find that it is much easier to put a student in a car, take them out on the track and let them experience what it feels like when the car is well balanced in high-G corners.

With the all-new Mazda MX-5 orders underway and cars rolling off the assembly line, a new advertising campaign with a new slogan has surfaced. Mazda appears to be ditching their long running Zoom-Zoom campaign for a new one with the slogan Driving Matters.

We have seen all there is to see when it comes to the new 2016 Mazda MX-5. I’m still on the fence about the styling personally and if you are too, the good news is that Fiat will be selling a version of the car.

One of the only things that we have been waiting to learn about the all-new 2016 Mazda MX-5 was the price. Pricing information has finally been unveiled and the car will start at a very reasonably price putting it well within reach of most buyers.

The secret to the Miata’s – and the whole British roadster genre’s – awesomeness has nothing to do with power and everything to do with lightness. By being light, it takes way less force to change a car’s momentum.

We already know most of what there is to know about the 2016 Mazda MX-5 and its redesign. I’m still a bit on the fence about the style of the new car, but I’d totally drive one.

I am a big fan of the Mazda MX-5/Miata platform. I have owned several Miatas and a MX-5 over the years and driven them very hard on the track. Few things are more fun than putting a low-powered car up the tail of a “fast” car in front of you and not letting that fast car driver get away.

Having owned a few Miata and MX-5 cars over the years, I am here to tell you that the cars have never been about power and raw performance. The MX-5/Miata is the epitome of a momentum car.
