Jeep fans should be thrilled to hear this. The company has confirmed that with the next generation Wrangler, a truck version will finally be offered. Jeep has teased with truck-based concepts in the past, such as the J-12 shown here.

Sure, it’s not a real truck and won’t be able to do the truck-like things that other mid-size offerings from Toyota, Chevy and GMC, but the Hyundai Santa Cruz is a very good-looking little ride – sort of a modern day version of the Subaru Brat.

VLF Automotive certainly has a serious braintrust, with Henrik Fisker, Bob Lutz, and Gilbert Villarreal behind the brand. One of the first cars that the company is showing is called the Force 1 V10 and it is derived from a Dodge Viper.

Perhaps the most appealing full-size family vehicle to show up at the 2016 NAIAS was a new concept from the design team at Kia, called the Telluride. The large SUV offers tons of space, with three rows of seats, and seating for up to seven.

Lincoln hasn’t made a Continental in a long time, but back its heyday, it was one of the firms most storied nameplates. The Continental has returned, with its big debut at the 2016 NAIAS. The car offers elegant looks, and lots of fancy little touches, like LED signature lighting, mat lighting to illuminate the pavement when approaching the car, and doors that can electronically close and cinch into place.

Back in the ’60s, Dodge had some bright and iconic paint colors that had equally iconic names. One of those colors was the purple hue known as “Plum Crazy.” That color has recently made a comeback, and is now available for a longer time than expected.

The 2016 NAIAS is upon us in Detroit, and news of new car and truck models is starting to roll out in spades. One of the first announcements is Ford’s reveal of a SuperCrew edition of the powerful F-150 Raptor.

Buick showed up at the 2016 North American International Auto Show with an awesome surprise. The Buick Avista Concept is arguably the sexiest Buick ever designed, looking more like a Jaguar or an Aston than a car you’d ever expect to come out of GM’s until recently conservative mid-range automaker.
