Nissan Maxima

Nissan has officially announced the 2021 Maxima line is available at dealerships around the United States. For 2021, the range includes the Maxima SV, Maxima SR, and Maxima Platinum. Platinum buyers can also opt for a limited production 40th Anniversary and Edition that tacks on another $2125 on top of the $42,220 MSRP of the Maxima Platinum.

Nissan has announced a new style package that 2016 Maxima SR buyers can choose to add to their cars. The package isn’t that expensive and offers a lot of cool features for the $1,195 it adds to the purchase price.

Not since Nissan’s 3rd generation Maxima has the midsize “four-door sports car” or “4DSC” in Nissan-speak been truly spectacular, at least on the design end of things. It seems that the Maxima has had trouble figuring out what it wants to look like – and now for its eighth generation car, Nissan has pretty much gone balls-out in terms of styling in order to recapture that 4DSC spirit back.
