Both the Porsche 911 and the Ferrari 458 Italia are high performance and special machines on their own. If you have the money and inclination, you can get even more impressive versions of both of these cars in the 911 GT3 and the 458 Speciale.

I love driving fast on a racetrack at track days and such. It’s a blast to squeeze the most out of your car. I’m not sure I would ever want to race up Colorado’s Pikes Peak though.

It’s fitting that a Porsche 919 Hybrid won this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. Why? Because LEGO and the German auto maker collaborated on a car they brought to the race that had fans gawking.

Unquestionably, the most iconic model for Porsche is the 911. The car has been around for more than 50 years, and is a classic by any definition of the word. That means there are scads of old 911 cars out there and a bunch of fans who might want to restore these old relics.

Most people will never own a Porsche 911. But a 718? Forget about it. There were only 14 718 RS-61s ever made, and one owned by British racing icon Sir Stirling Moss is going to hit Bonham’s auction block this month at the UK’s Goodwood Festival of Speed and is expected to fetch around $3 million.

When I think of Porsche, Stuttgart comes to mind a lot faster than Atlanta. But that perception is going to change for a lot of people now that the iconic sports car maker has opened its elegant new U.S.

People who love their cars are very particular about them and pay close attention to every detail – especially when they come out of the shop. Which is why a man from Dubai was more than a little dubious when he took his Porsche 911 in for a little work on its bumper and his luxury sports car brand’s iconic name had been slightly rearranged to “PORSHCE” after it was done being serviced.

Unfortunately, he made the huge mistake of letting me drive his bright yellow Targa to school when I turned 16, and I came within about an inch of totaling it because of an unadvised high speed turn that I took while leaving my high school’s parking lot.

For as long as the Porsche Boxster and Cayman have been around they have used the company’s iconic flat-6 engines. The last time Porsche sold a car in the U.S. with a four cylinder engine was way back in 1995 with the 968.

If you have ever been to a track day, you know that the way your prove you are better than everyone else is with your lap times. Beware the Miata driver who asks what times you run with a smirk on his face.

The Porsche 911 is one of the longest running success stories in the automotive world. It’s not a cheap sports car, but they have sold in droves around the world and it is one of the best sports cars around.

It’s something that not even the guys from Top Gear could arrange for. Fortunately, Paul Bailey owns all three of the current hypercar kings, a Ferrari LaFerrari, a McLaren P1, and a Porsche 918 Spyder, so he’s got the right to take his cars to the track when he feels like it.

Porsche fans have a new place that they will want to add to their bucket list. The new location is in Atlanta and is the Porsche Experience Center. This is more than a place to visit, it is also now the headquarters for Porsche Cars North America and houses multiple divisions in one building for the first time.
