Few things get the adrenaline flowing during a race like getting to watch a hard fought battle between three evenly matched cars and drivers. This is exactly what happened with a showdown during the World Endurance Championship between LMP1-class cars.

Cruise control is very nice to have on a long drive, but it’s never been an exciting feature. When it can corner and stay in a lane, turning into a sort of highway autopilot, it will be exciting in that it will make long trips less stressful.

The iconic Porsche Carrera GT is the subtle badass of the hypercar genre. There are flashy cars, such as every single Lamborghini ever made, and overly sexy (borderline try-hard) cars, exemplified by Ferraris.  Of course there are the much too serious such as the Gumpert Apollo; and finally, there is the perfect balance; the Carrera GT.

We all know that F1 drivers all have an expiration date. Driving cars with that kind of performance is a young man’s game and the drivers eventually lose enough steps that they can’t be competitive any longer.

Porsche has made a turbo version of the 911 for a very long time now, so when we say the Porsche 911 fleet is going turbo don’t get confused. Porsche is bringing turbos to most of the 911 fleet starting this fall.

There are empty, desolate parts of the Australian outback where the government decided “what in the bloody hell is the point of a speed limit our here?” It’s not as famous as Germany’s Autobahn, because it doesn’t lead to anything but venomous animals and their droppings, but it is indeed a place where one can go to really mash the gas pedal for some time.

MotorWeek is still on the air, but if you’ve been pining for the good old days you’ll be pleased to know that the show has been uploading clips from old episodes on its YouTube channel. One such blast from the past is this 1986 review of the Ferrari 328 GTS, the Lotus Turbo Esprit, the Lamborghini Jalpa and a Shelby Cobra replica, the Autokraft AC Mark IV.

We’ve seen the McLaren P1 reviewed alongside the shy Ferrari LaFerrari. Here’s a more definitive comparison of the best hybrid supercars, but this time it’s between the P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder. The goal? Fastest lap at the Laguna Seca. 

I’ve never been a huge fan of the Boxster. I’m not really a convertible guy and when the Cayman came out, I all but forgot about the Boxster. I do like the latest Boxster models though, they look very good, and the new Boxster Spyder that Porsche has just unveiled looks like something I could drive the crap out of.

Normally we get pretty excited about the unveiling of a new Porsche special edition around here. In the case of the Panamera, Porsche has unveiled the changes for a special edition so subtle you’d be hard pressed to tell this car from a normal Panamera.

Porsche has impressed the world mightily with its hybrid offerings. The 918 Spyder is obviously nothing short of incredible, but the Hybrid Panamera is no slouch either. According to a slide of a presentation photographed by Autocar, full electric and hydrogen models are now in the Porsche pipeline.

I’m not a huge fan of Chris Harris; after all he did drive the Mazda Miata with a bag on his head. Still, he does get to drive all the cool cars. One of those cars he climbed behind the wheel of recently is the new Porsche Cayman GT4.

I am a Porsche fan; I’ve loved the 911 and have since I was a kid. I also like the Boxster, but I’m not much of a roadster guy. When the Cayman debuted, I knew that was the Porsche for me.

Germany’s RUF has been modifying already fast Porsches for more style and performance fore decades. The company is on hand in Geneva with some of its awesome cars and one of them is this white RUF RGT 4.2.

Good news for Porsche fans this week; we no longer need to look to rumors to know what the Porsche 911 GT3 RS will pack under its rear deck lid. The car has now gone official and it is just as bonkers as we hoped.
