There’s no question that Apple and Porsche are two of the most iconic brand names in the history of modern business. Back in 1980, when Apple was still known as Apple Computer (and it still believed in colors) its branding featured heavily on one particular race team’s livery.

Produced from 1977 to 1995, the 928 was one of Porsche’s more controversial designs. Originally created to replace the 911 (blasphemy!), Porsche attempted to make the car appeal to a wider audience by making it easier to drive than other sports cars, and also adding features like fold-down rear seats for the kids, and driver-centric comfort features.

Over the years, we’ve seen some truly unusual kit cars. Oftentimes, they’re designed to make less expensive sports cars look like Lamborghinis, Ferraris, or other exotics. But in the case of the Gagliardi Vex, it’s a unique vehicle unto itself, borrowing bits and pieces from a variety of supercar styles.

Traveling to auto shows, we get to see a whole lot of cool and unusual concept cars. They may serve as inspiration for production vehicles, but the majority of them never go into production themselves. Once such concept was the Porsche Tapiro.

The 2020 Porsche Taycan has yet to make its way to dealerships, but it’s hotly anticipated as one of the best performing, and best looking pure electrics yet. As part of its pre-production testing, Porsche took a Taycan to the famed Nürburgring-Nordschleife to see what it could do.

While this video clip is just 17 seconds long, there’s still something immensely satisfying about it. After all, it features a 1986 Porsche 911 doing donuts in an unusual location – on a sandy Oregon beach.

Porsche fans, get ready to check out one of the most droolworthy collections of cars on the planet. At any given time, the secretive White Collection houses somewhere around 65 different Porsches, ranging from classics from the 1950s, all the way up to modern-day supercars from the German sports car maker.

To this day, Porsche is renowned as one of the finest manufacturers of sports cars in the world. Porsche has pulled the wraps off the Cayenne Coupe, a new version of its popular Cayenne SUV with a raked car-style rear, but that isn’t actually a coupe. The new model looks fantastic and takes away the ugly and bulky rear I never liked about the regular Cayenne.

Something tragic happened recently. A cargo ship that was carrying a bunch of cars off the French Atlantic coast caught fire and capsized. Fortunately, no humans lives were lost in the disaster, but a bunch of cool cars have gone to the bottom of the sea.

It can take a tremendous amount of time and money to restore a classic car. In most cases, car owners have to dig through junkyards and auctions to find the parts they need. But in the case of Porsche, their accessories group has been known to actually recreate parts for classic cars – in this case, using lighter weight materials.

Porsche has a new EV coming that aims to compete against Tesla. The car is called the Taycan, and will be based on the Mission E concept seen here. A new report says that Porsche will double production from the originally-planned 20,000 units per year up to 40,000 per year.

If you had $60,000 to spend on a car, you could certainly get a nice one, like a fully tricked-out Kia Stinger GT, or even the new Toyota Supra. But when you buy a Porsche, you can rack up that kind of expense on options alone.

Porsche has unveiled the 2019 911 Carrera Cabriolet, the drop-top version of the venerable Porsche 911. The new car gets the same lines as the new 911 Carrera that recently debuted. The cabrio has a fully-automatic soft top that can be opened or closed at speeds up to 31 mph.
