The LA Auto Show always has some cool car debuts while it is going and this year will be no different. One of the cool sports cars to debut will be the Panamera and Panamera Executive.

When he’s not piloting planes for Icelandair, Torfi Sigurjonsson is likely racing around winding roads in the barren Iceland landscape in one of his two beloved V8 classics, a Speed Yellow Porsche 928 and a jet-black Mercedes E500.

A matte grey, never restored, yet still mint Porsche 550 RS Spyder sold this weekend for a record £4,593,500 at the Goodwood Revival’s Bonhams auction. For those of you, like me, who don’t readily convert pounds to dollars in their heads, that currently adds up to $5,956,621.13 in U.S.

It’s an annual tradition for the fine folks at Motor Trend to gather together some of the greatest supercars of the year to see how they perform, and to choose one driver’s car to rule them all.

The owner of this slick little Black Porsche Cayman took the car and decided to remove the stock flat six. I can only assume that reason was that the Porsche engine broke and it cost too much to fix.

Porsche has a new way for buyers of its big and much better looking Panamera to feel better about driving a powerful sports car. The new ride is the Panamera 4-E Hybrid and it has 360kW, or about 462 hp under foot.

Porsche has announced an even hotter version of its already hot Macan Turbo SUV. The new version is the Macan Turbo with Performance Package and it sits at the top of the compact SUV heap. The Performance Package option brings a recalibrated twin-turbo V6 engine making 440hp.

I imagine that the way the engine swap first came about was when some dude racing his car blew the engine and couldn’t afford to put the engine meant for it back under the hood. He found what he could afford, crammed it inside, then hot rodders heard about it and boom.

The Porsche Cayman has been my dream car since it debuted in 2005. It’s a beautiful, powerful car, one that had some motor journalists wondering if it was in fact “better” than a 911. Good luck winning that argument with a Porsche purist, but that it even was a discussion is a testament to the automotive marvel that is the Cayman.

There are a few actors turned racing drivers out there who were very successful in both careers. Two of the biggest names to achieve success both on screen and on track were Steve McQueen and Paul Newman.

What better way to celebrate independence – particularly the freedom to hoon, within posted limits, of course – than with a review of the undeniably awesome 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo S? Carfection gets behind the wheel of a Sapphire Blue Metallic 572 horsepower, 553 lb-ft torque Turbo S, with a claimed 0-62 mile per hour sprint of 2.9 seconds, and top speed north of 200 miles per hour.

Back in the day there was a girl at school that wasn’t exactly ugly, but she wasn’t exactly hot either. Then we came back from the summer one year and suddenly she was a total smoke show.

You may know comedian Spike Feresten through his work writing for shows such as Seinfeld, for which he penned the infamous “Soup Nazi” episode. You may know him through his hosting gig for Esquire TV’s show Car Matchmaker, where Feresten helps a prospective car owner choose among three possible dream cars.

I know I am not the only person who thinks that the Panamera is the ugliest of all the Porsche models being made today. Even the Cayenne is good looking for an SUV. The Panamera, on the other hand, isn’t an attractive car.
