Rolex 24

BMW has been working with artists for years now to create special one-of-a-kind Art Cars. The latest BMW Art Car was designed by John Baldessari as a rolling sculpture. This Art Car isn’t a normal BMW production car though, this time out the artist created his design on the blank, white canvas of the BMW M6 GTLM race car.

I was never a big fan of NASCAR racing because it I found it boring seeing them run in circles all day. I did enjoy watching the occasional road race thrown into the series though. If you are a NASCAR fan, you know that Jeff Gordon retired back in 2015.

I recently had an opportunity to attend the grueling 24 hour race at Daytona International Speedway called the Rolex 24. Being a WEC sports car race, many of the cars you see are variations of the vehicles you can go into the showroom and purchase yourself.
