Growing up, my dad was a sports car guy and owned a small car lot. That meant he was constantly buying, driving, and selling Corvettes. One time, he went outside that niche he preferred and bought a Datsun 280Z.

I haven’t had the opportunity to drive the diesel version of the new 2016 Nissan Titan XD. I did own a Titan with a gas V8 a few years back, and the truck was impressively fast for a big heavy vehicle.

In addition to its four more street-friendly Camaros, Chevrolet has rolled out the all-new sixth generation COPO Camaro at SEMA 2015. The car is designed specifically for NHRA drag racing and can be had with three different engines under the hood.

Perhaps the coolest car that Chevrolet is showing off at SEMA 2015 is a classic 1970 Camaro. But this isn’t any old classic Camaro. This one has a supercharged LT4 V8 engine under the hood from a modern Stingray Z06 Corvette.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has a Mopar booth at SEMA 2015 and it is showing off customized cars from most of its product lines at the show. Among the cars on hand at the show is the AWD Challenger that was teased late last month.

Hennessey Performance Engineering will be showing off three vehicles at the 2015 SEMA show when it kicks off tomorrow. The coolest of the trio of vehicles looks to be the Venom GT with its power output bumped up to an insane 1451 hp.

I was worried for a while when all Ford was talking about for SEMA 2015 was SUVs and crossovers. Then I heard the good news that a bunch of custom Mustangs would be on hand, and now Ford has announced that some custom Focus STs will be on display as well.

Unless you are really into cars, you may have never heard the term restomod. A restomod is a car that is restored, but not restored to original condition. Often a restomod gets modern hardware underneath to make it drive and handle better than it did when it left the factory. 

Back when my son was born, I had to trade my Mustang for a four-door Nissan. That was bad enough, and then when my daughter came along I had to ditch that Nissan for a Minivan.

Hyundai is rounding out the list of SEMA 2015 show cars that will be in its booth next month with the TJIN Edition Genesis Coupe. By rounding out, I assume Hyundai means this is the last custom that will be unveiled before the show kicks off.

Nissan will have a presence at SEMA when the show kicks off early next month. At the show, the automaker will be showing off one of the hottest sports cars ever made in a special hopped up form.

Dodge has one of the coolest retro muscle cars ever built in the Challenger. The car looks very much as it did back on the ’60s and has sold pretty well for Dodge. FCA’s Mopar division is now teasing some of the numerous cars that it will be showing off at this year’s SEMA, and among the vehicles is the one you see here.

A few days back Ford told us that it would be heading to SEMA 2015 with a whopping 28 different custom SUVs and Crossovers in tow. Details on the show cars are now starting to trickle out, and one of the coolest of the bunch is this Explorer Sport from All Star Performance.
