It’s been five years since Toyota and its Calty Design studio showed off its stunning FT-1 concept, and now we finally have the production car it inspired. And while the new 2020 Supra doesn’t have the mid-engine design of the concept, it actually retained quite a bit of its styling when you compare them side by side.

British sportscar maker TVR’s latest vehicle looks pretty damned impressive, from its aggressively styled design to its powerful drivetrain. The two-seat TVR Griffith will be available in both coupe and convertible versions, and packs a big V8 engine under the hood.

During a recent charity event in The Netherlands, a number of car buffs turned out to show off their fancy and powerful sports cars, many of which packing engines and exhaust systems which crank out impressive sounds.

When I first heard rumors that Jaguar was stuffing one of their famed V8 engines under the hood of the XE sport sedan, I wasn’t sure that it could be done. But the masterminds at Jaguar Special Vehicle Operations have made it happen.

We have been lusting over the Rezvani Beast sports car for a while now, but the last time we wrote about it, it was going to sell for about $200,000. Now, the company has announced the car will be selling for less than half that amount.

Ford is offering up new some performance details on the 2017 Ford GT, and is comparing the car to some of the the performance heavyweights out there. The company says that the active aero systems of the car give it an incredible top speed of 216 mph, the highest speed of any Ford production vehicle ever.

A new teaser video has turned up that shows Alpine’s new Porsche 718 Cayman competitor slip-sliding away. Sadly, the car is covered in camo so we can’t really see what it looks like. What we know right now is that the Alpine Première will be RWD and have around 250 hp in a package that is 660 pounds lighter than the already light Cayman, so it should be a beast.

The car geeks over at Top Gear were fortunate enough to get a bit handsy with the Bugatti Chiron that recently turned up at Pebble Beach. While there, they also found out that Bugatti already has 200 orders on the books for the Chiron even though the car hasn’t launched officially just yet.

Whoever says money can’t buy happiness lied. Because if you have roughly $200,000 to spend, you can buy a lot of happiness and a lot of horsepower. I was fortunate enough to spend a week with the 2017 Audi R8, which offered up plenty of happiness.

I’ve always said that if I were rich enough to afford an exotic car, I’d drive it everywhere. I’d probably sleep in it. This guy is my kind of supercar driver. Not only does he not mind driving his Pagani Huayra to the grocery store, he plans to actually shop and bring the food back in the car.
