While at a media preview event before the opening of the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, I had the chance to get up close and personal with the new 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, and boy does it look great.

The very first production 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, was sold during Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction back in September for a whopping $825,000 – a $760,000+ premium over the retail price for a Hellcat. In this short video clip, you can see Hellcat 0001 rolling off the assembly line in Dodge’s Brampton, Ontario plant.

While I’m not sure if we’ll see much use of the SRT name outside of Dodge anymore, that hasn’t stopped Jeep from releasing another badass iteration of its Grand Cherokee, badged with the SRT moniker. The most powerful production Jeep, the SRT has a huge 6.4-liter V8 HEMI engine capable of outputting 475 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft.

Fans of the Dodge Viper will be happy to know that there’s a new special edition of the car on the way, and it looks pretty amazing from the outside. With a cool metallic matte finish, there’s no question that this is one of the best looking Vipers to date.
