We recently stumbled onto this video clip from a couple of years back, in which stunt driver Mauro Calo managed to put a Mercedes-Benz  C63 AMG sedan into an insanely long powerslide. The slide itself lasted for a bit over two minutes, as he kept his tires burning rubber for a distance of 1.44 miles around a circular track.

The upcoming Need for Speed movie is all about fast cars and dangerous seat-of-the-pants street racing. In one of the biggest stunts for the film, a Koenigsegg goes sideways between two other Koenigsegg supercars and the script calls for it to ride up one car, take off into the air, and come down hard.

The Fiat 500 is a fun little car, but we never knew the subcompact Italian was amphibious. Well, they’re probably not that way fresh off the assembly line. However, for a recent publicity stunt, three Fiat 500s were turned into boats, and piloted through the water.

We can’t think of any vehicle less thrilling than a Volvo industrial truck. Volvo Trucks recognized this marketing challenge and decided to do something about it. In order to get people excited about these otherwise solid but boring utilitarian vehicles, they set out to create a series of stunts involving their trucks to show off various attributes of the vehicles.
