Building an AMG Engine

Each and every engine that rolls off the line at Mercedes-Benz’s AMG division is handmade. YouCar managed to go behind the scenes in AMG’s Affalterbach factory to watch the painstaking assembly process of these works of precision German engineering.

In this particular case, we see an AMG V8 and from empty big block to having its enormous crankshaft and pistons placed to finished engine – though we don’t know what car it’s destined for. We also love how the video focuses on the work at hand, without embellishment by commentary or music.
