Rare 2012 Shelby Mustang GTS Wide Body Prototype Hits eBay

A few years back, Shelby released a set of upgrades for the last-gen Ford Mustang GT, which included an upgraded exhaust system, improved suspension, brakes, and options for turbo or supercharging. Now, a prototype widebody version of the Shelby GTS, with many more upgrades has turned up on eBay for sale.

This beautiful Grabber Blue Shelby Mustang GTS has only 571 miles on the odometer, and has been kitted out with a mean looking wide body kit that flares out the fenders, quarter panels, hood, and front bumper. Its 5.0-liter Coyote V8 has been pushed to 616 hp with the addition of a Ford Racing supercharger, and its 6-speed manual has an upgraded Shelby DYAD clutch. Other upgrades include 20-inch Shelby forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, an upgraded and retuned suspension, Shelby/Torsen posi-trac differential, Borla cat-back exhaust, and Shelby/Wilwood disc brakes.

If you’ve got $179,900 burning a hole in your pocket, this very special car can be yours, though its seller, RK Motors Charlotte, is willing to accept “Best Offer” bids as well.
