Toyota has announced the end of the FJ Cruiser line with the 2014 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition. The commemorative final edition of the FJ Cruiser, which sold more than 200,000 units since 2006, recalls the storied Land Cruisers of the 1960s, from which the FJ Cruiser was original inspired. With a limited production of just 2,500 vehicles, the TTUE includes a unique white painted front grille reminiscent of the FJ40s along with newly developed “Heritage Blue” paint. Surprisingly, Toyota has not painted the roof white to match in the style of the old FJ40 fiberglass top.

The Trail Teams Ultimate Edition also comes with 16-inch bead lock wheels with BF Goodrich A/T KO tires, a TRD front skid plate, roof rack and a TRD off-road suspension. On the inside, the changes are few from the standard FJ Cruiser, but this edition will come with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, floating-ball multi-information display, and a stainless steel dash plaque commemorating the limited edition.
