Porsche Explains the Porsche Design DNA

Written by Kenny Hoeschen | November 30, 2014

Without a doubt, Porsche has a long history of creating sports cars that advance the world of automotive design, from the legendary 911 series of cars to their current technology that operates under the skin of their latest 911 GT3 or the incredible 918 Spyder. With the German automaker’s more recent move into the SUV and sports sedan spaces, some might be curious what drives the Porsche design team.

Porsche has enlisted members of the Porsche Design Studio from Weissach, Germany – the team creating the future of Porsche – to explain the design details that define every Porsche vehicle throughout the lineup. From the nose to the tail, each Porsche shares certain design characteristics that identify the car as a Porsche.
