This ultra lightweight track day car is also street legal (at least when it’s not raining or snowing). Powered by a either a 240hp or 285hp Ford EcoBoost 2-liter engine, and weighing just 1598 pounds, the VUHL 05 is capable of hitting 60 in just 3.7 seconds.
Its monocoque chassis is made from aluminum and aluminum honeycomb, with either an RTM reinforced plastic or pricier carbon fiber option. Weight distribution puts 37% up front and 63% in the rear to help minimize understeer and provide responsive race car dynamics.
