Koenigsegg Agera R Drag Races a Ford Focus

Just from the title of this post, you know who’s gonna win this race. But there is a point to this wildly imbalanced video from SuperSpeeders. You see, when you watch a hypercar like the Koenigsegg Agera R speeding by in review and demonstration videos, you get no sense of just how much faster the car is than everyday cars.

So in this short clip, they put the 1140 horsepower Agera R up against a Ford Focus station wagon with a 115 horsepower diesel engine, just so we can get some perspective. They even gave the Focus a 1/2-mile head start in the one-mile drag race, and the Agera still zips past it like a fighter jet flyover. Heck, they probably could have given the Focus a 9/10th of a mile lead and it still would have been left in the dust.
