The Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 racer is an incredible car and the ride-along videos will make your heart skip a beat. But how does the Nissan crew prep the car in its racing livery? It’s far more complex than putting your family-and-dogs stickers on your rear window.

Starting with a blank, white car, the team spends over four hours applying graphics and pinstripes around the GT3. While some of the graphics are pre-made, like the YouTube and Nissan logos, the team still does a lot of the trimming and shaping of the panels by hand using a keen eye, a steady hand, a razor knife, and a heat gun.

This might just inspire us to shop around for some graphics to add to our daily drivers. First, we need to acquire some sponsorships.
