Willys Jeep vs. Z06 Corvette in a Street Race

You’d think that from that title, there’d be no competition at all, and the Z06 Corvette would smoke the Jeep. But thanks to this specially modified LSx Willys, you’d be surprised as to how well the open-top 4×4 stacks up.

In fact, thanks to the LSx’s 750hp engine, the Jeep is able to pass up the ‘Vette with ease. Achieving speeds as high as 180mph without a roof, windshield or roll cage, we’re doubtful that even the helmets the occupants are wearing would do much good in a crash. Certainly, we don’t condone street racing on public roads, but nonetheless, the LSx Willys is an impressive achievement.
