Red Bull’s Formula 1 Racer Captured on Infrared

Infiniti Red Bull Racing took their RB8 Formula 1 car out onto the track and asked their innovation partner, FLIR, to record the car in action using infrared imagery. Fortunately, FLIR builds specialty video cameras to do just that, and captured some incredible shots of the RB8 going around the track and even doing some donuts.
It’s amazing to see the extreme heat coming out of race car’s exhaust, off the tires, and car’s brakes.
