Nissan’s Crowd-Sourced Project Titan Revealed

With the help of its Facebook fans, Nissan has designed “Project Titan” a truck that’s ready to conquer the Alaskan wilderness. Based on the 2014 Titan Crew Cab PRO-4X pickup, the vehicle’s details were chosen by fans, from the exterior lights, the graphic wrap, the off-road tires, and the interior details that make the Titan ready for adventure. The truck also comes with a custom roof rack designed to stand up to Alaska’s rough terrain and hold all the equipment necessary. They’ve even installed a premium Rockford Fosgate sounds system which will be useful both for entertaining the crew and for scaring away bears if they just bring a couple Miley Cyrus tracks along.

In total, the Facebook fans were able to choose 10 items to customize for the truck, right down to the amazing 18-inch Fuel Revolver D525 wheels wrapped in 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires. The Titan will be piloted across Alaska by two alumni from the Wounded Warrior Project, David Guzman and Kevin McMahon, and you can follow the progress on the Nissan Facebook page.
