2015 Bentley Mulsanne Speed

Bentley’s extravagant Mulsanne executive sedan is now available in a high-performance variant, driven by an upgraded powertrain capable of launching the 5,919 pound car to 60mph in just 4.8 seconds. Burbling beneath the hood of the Mulsanne Speed is a massive, twin-turbocharged 6.75 liter V8, which produces 537 horsepower and an incredible 811 lb.-ft. of torque. Top speed is a supercar-worthy 190mph.

An 8-speed ZF automatic transmission offers fast shifting, and offers paddle shifters. An upgraded sports suspension and steering system gives the Mulsanne Speed a more connected and responsive driving experience.

The exterior of the Mulsanne Speed offers aggressive touches with the addition of a dark tint finish to its stainless grilles, as well as to its taillights. Its 21″ wheels offer a sense of forward movement, with unique wheels for the left and right sides of the vehicle. Bentley plans on offering the Mulsanne Speed in four new paint colors, including Spectre (shown here), which is a black with gold and green “reptilian” undertones, Candy Red, Camel, and Marlin – a rich oceanic blue/green with a metallic sheen.

Inside, it’s as impressive as any Bentley, with beautiful two-tone finishes, with the option of a Piano Black veneer with carbon fiber inlays. Both the seats and door panels offer luxurious diamond quilting, and the ceiling is covered with an indented hide.

Bentley will be showing off the Mulsanne Speed in person at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, which kicks off on October 2, 2014. The car will be available to buyers this winter.
