Each year, numerous cool and expensive cars take on the hill climb and other events at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This time, a McLaren P1 LM turned up and proceeded to smash the record for the hill climb, claiming title as the fastest road-legal car to ever climb the hill.

Thankfully, the video of the run has been published so we can see just how fast it got up the hill. The 1000 horsepower hybrid hypercar sounds fantastic when being driven balls out. The Goodwood course is incredibly tight and has no margin for error. Driver Kenny Brack did the deed in just 47.07 seconds at 134.9 mph. That is absolutely flying, and his fellow competitors didn’t look happy about the whole thing.
