2018 Audi A5 and S5 Break Cover

Audi has unveiled the 2018 version of its A5 and S5 models, and if you have eyes on an A5 you can get it with a new turbo four paired with a manual transmission. The A5 comes with a 252 hp TFSI four cylinder that makes 273 lb-ft. torque and can reach 60 mph from naught in 5.6 seconds for the S-tronic auto and 5.7 seconds for the manual version.

The S5 coupe gets a 3.0 TFSI V6 making 354 hp and 369 lb-ft. torque. It can reach 60mph in 4.4 seconds and only comes with an 8-speed tiptronic auto. Audi says it revamped the car’s suspension systems for 2018, resulting in a more sporty ride, while still offering comfort.

As with all Audis, the cars are both all-wheel drive. Both models are refreshed on the outside with a widened grille, lower hood lines, bolder wheel arches, and available LED headlights.

Inside, there’s a standard panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, ambient LED lighting, and aluminum or wood accents. Audi’s virtual cockpit with a 12.3-inch screen, as well as a full color heads-up display are now available as options as well.

Audi has yet to announce pricing for the new A5 and S5, but it’s anticipated to be in line with the outgoing models.
