McLaren’s New 650S Revealed Ahead of Geneva
McLaren has revealed its “mid range” supercar, the 650S, ahead of its official debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Positioned between the McLaren 12C and the P1 hypercar, the 650S is expected to be available as a hard top and a convertible model.
We expect it will have McLaren’s twin-turbocharged 3.8 liter V8 engine and will crank out 650 horsepower to reflect its name. The car is expected to have a 0-to-60 mph time of just 3 seconds and will come with upgraded equipment from the 12C, including carbon-ceramic brakes, LED headlights, and forged alloy wheels.
