BMW M4 vs. Jaguar F-Type V6 S Drift-Off

I have a particularly fond spot in my heart for the Jaguar F-Type convertible. In fact, I liked it so much the first time I test drove one that I bought one the next day. Seriously. But the BMW M4 is no slouch either (except for its silly “enhanced”exhaust note and overly-complicated convertible mechanism), and both cars are a complete blast to drive.

In this video from Auto Express, they paired up an M4 convertible and an F-Type V6 S convertible on the track to see which would go sideways around corners better. At least that’s what I thought a “drift-off” meant. But the clip is basically just eye candy, and no conclusions are reached at all. Still, it’s fun to watch these two impressive cars spin their tires and slide around some corners on a track.

I can only imagine that they skipped the V8 Jag because it would have smoked the M4 in the straights – and it sounds just that much better than the M4.
