Posaidon Amps Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG to 841HP

The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG is currently one of my favorite mid-sized cars, packing Mercedes’ quality and luxury, but concealing a true beast of a sportscar under the hood. When you buy an E63 AMG S direct from Benz, it tops out with a 5.5-liter, 577 horsepower turbocharged V8, and that’s more than enough for most of us. But that wasn’t good enough for the boys at Posaidon, who’ve upgraded the car to a mindblowing 841 horsepower, and more than 738 lb.-ft. of torque.

Modifications in the Posaidon RS850 kit include a pair of new turbos, upgraded intake and exhaust systems, and a beefed up rear diff. With all of these mods in place, of course, they raised the top speed on the limiter to a whopping 216mph versus the factory 186mph. We’re not sure where you’d ever get a chance to push it to that speed, but the mere fact that it’s capable of exceeding 200 should be enough for most hardcore gearheads.
