Kahn Design Flying Huntsman 105 Pickup

The latest member of Kahn Design’s Flying Huntsman Land Rover Defender line is certainly an odd one. As is the series’ trademark, the 105 Pick Up has a 15″ longer wheelbase and 16″ longer bonnet than a stock Defender, but the snout is even more pronounced here because it’s visibly larger than the truck bed.

What’s even stranger is that Kahn Design opted to use the Defender’s standard 105bhp 2.2L diesel engine despite the extra space that its curious proportions freed up. It does have mean-looking 18″ wheels, fenders and aperture panels. Add that to the racing seats and improved brakes and suspension and you have a duck-faced beast of burden. Starting price is at £58,875 (~$90,000 USD).
