Chevy Colorado Z71 Trail Boss and Midnight Editions

If you are in the market for a mid-size truck, one of the best new offerings is the Chevy Colorado. That truck comes in a variety of models and configurations. Chevrolet has confirmed the pending launch of two new special editions of the Colorado. One of them is the Colorado Midnight Edition and the other is the Z71 Trail Boss.

The rugged Z71 Trail Boss gets buyers special all-terrain tires, blacked out bowtie emblem, a spray-in bedliner, special wheels, and a sport bar. That sport bar is also fitted with LED lights to brighten the trial. The Trail Boss is offered in 2WD or 4WD, but only on the Z71 model. I think it would be very strange to buy this truck in 2WD. The truck will be offered in any color with any cab configuration and with all available engine options.

The Midnight Edition of the Colorado is available on the LT version of the truck only. You can get it with any engine option, in extended or crew cab, and in 2WD or 4WD versions. It gets the buyer black emblems and black wheels. A spray in bedliner and black folding tonneau cover completes the package, giving the truck a sleek, urban look.

Chevy hasn’t offered pricing on either of these special editions just yet.
