Honda Teases All-new 2018 Accord and It Doesn’t Look Boring

If you really don’t like to stand out, the car for you has traditionally been something bland that the eye glances right over like the Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. Honda has teased a concept sketch of the all-new 2018 Accord and the vehicle looks really cool. That’s not something you normally say about an Accord.

Granted, it’s just a sketch, and those have been known to exaggerate design attributes, but it still looks much more dynamic than the current model. The entire front end is significantly bolder and more modern, especially those sculpted, narrow headlights.

We also know that there will be three powertrains to choose from in the car. There will be a hybrid with two motors, and a pair of direct injected turbo-fours. Transmission options include a new Honda made 10-speed auto, a CVT, or a 6-speed manual.

The official unveil of the 2018 Accord will happen on July 14 at 11 a.m. EDT in Detroit. That unveil will also be livestreamed on YouTube for those not in attendance. Pricing and full details will be announced at launch.
