Epic 1969 Restomod “Eleanor” Mustang for Sale

While some people are sticklers for using all original parts when restoring classic cars, I rather enjoy well-done restomods as well, in which the spirit of the original car is preserved, but its updated with modern performance parts, a typically made more bold and aggressive in styling. One such example of an excellent restomod is this 1969 Ford Mustang I spotted for sale from Plymouth, Michigan’s Vanguard Motor Sales.

You’ll definitely want to check out the in-depth video of this car – it’s truly impressive:

This beauty of a pony car looks fantastic with its rich crimson red paint job with grey racing stripes, and some awesome 18″ chrome wheels. Under the hood pins and giant shaker scoop, it packs a new 435 horsepower 5.0-liter Coyote engine, connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox, along with a sweet side-firing Eleanor style exhaust system. It’s also got modern power disc brakes, and power rack and pinion steering. In other words, this is a 2017 Mustang GT, but with the looks of a ’69 Eleanor.

Inside, it’s just as stunning, with custom grey leather upholstery, bucket seats, aluminum pedals, and red accents throughout. It also rocks a modern custom stereo system, with navigation, a Rockford Fosgate amp, and subwoofers in the trunk.

It’s a whole heck of alot of car for any Mustang enthusiast, and something you can really drive today, instead of just leaving it in a static collection. The asking price is $194,900(USD) for this beautiful beast, so you’ll need some seriously deep pockets if you want it. If you’re interested in more info, check out the eBay auction, or drop by the Vanguard Motor Sales website.
