2019 Subaru Ascent SUV Price Revealed

We’ve talked about the Subaru Ascent SUV before, and we knew what the basic specs and equipment would be. What we didn’t know was how much the Ascent would cost. Subaru has now offered up that information.

The base Ascent will start at $31,995, will seat 8, and has standard AWD, X-Mode, and EyeSight tech. For that price, you get 19 cupholders as well (how many cups do you need!). Starting at $34,195, you can get the Premium Trim, which adds blind-spot detection with lane change assist and rear cross-traffic alert, spill-resistant cloth, a power driver’s seat, and a bigger 8.0-inch screen for infotainment.

That Premium trim also includes an all-weather package with heated mirrors, heated front seats, and wiper de-icer system. Options include second-row captain’s chairs, 20-inch wheels, push-button start, navigation with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a panoramic power moonroof. The Limited starts at $38,995 and gets standard captain’s chairs or bench seat at no cost, leather, LED fog lights, LED steering responsive lights, and more. The top of the line Touring model gets aesthetic upgrades like satin silver side mirrors, chrome accents, upgraded Java Brown leather seats, ventilated seats for both driver and front seat passengers, navigation, a 14-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, upgraded cameras, and more. Pricing for the Touring model starts at $44,695.

All Ascent models get the same 2.4-liter, 260 hp Boxer engine, and a CVT with a simulated 8-speed manual shift mode.
