2018 Ram Power Wagon Mojave Sand Edition Ready to Hit the Trails

Ram Trucks has unveiled a slick looking new limited-edition truck called the 2018 Ram Power Wagon Mojave Sand edition. The ride gets its name from its earthy beige color, and Ram promises it is the most off-road capable truck on the market today. It’s based on the Ram 2500 heavy duty 4×4 crew cab, packing a 410 horsepower, 6.4-liter V8 HEMI engine.

The truck gets 2 inches of lift for a total of 14.3″ of ground clearance. Other features include locking front and rear diffs, an electronically-disconnecting front sway bar, 33″ Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, and a 12,000-lb. winch. The Mojave Sand edition also gets all-black wheels and an all-black interior. Ram also puts the Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen inside and the Heavy Duty Luxury Group with LED bed lights, overhead console, and heated/fold-away mirrors along with a universal garage door opener.

This is the first time the Mojave Sand color has been offered on a Ram heavy duty truck, and the color is exclusive to the Power Wagon. The color was previously offered on the Ram Rebel, and was the bestselling color on that truck.

The truck starts at $54,830 plus $1,695 destination charge. It will be in dealerships in Q4 2018, and Ram will make just 1,500 units.
