With the stock exhaust, the Ram 1500 TRX already has a pretty imposing exhaust note. Those dual TRX pipes produce quite a ruckus hooked up to that 702-horsepower supercharged Hemi V8 engine. But for some people, enough is never enough, and one TRX truck owner wanted an even louder and more brutal exhaust note.

Hennessey Performance has announced that their Ram TRX-based Mammoth 1000 6×6 pickup is entering production. The most significant change to the Mammoth is the addition of a third axle in the rear. Its six 20-inch beadlock wheels are shod with 37-inch off-road tires.

It may come as a surprise to some that there are multiple aftermarket companies out there taking trucks and converting them to six-wheel vehicles by adding an additional axle. One of the most notable companies performing this kind of conversion is Hennessey.

Ram has added a new trim level to its 1500 light-duty pickup range that builds on the popular Ram 1500 Big Horn and Lone Star editions. The Ram 1500 BackCountry is aimed at people with active lifestyles that want a vehicle capable of going off-road.

Ram has announced the fifth and final installation in its military-themed Built to Serve limited-edition pickup line. The program has been running for a while now and was intended to build trucks to honor all five branches of the US Armed Forces.

At the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction on March 26, 2021, a very special truck will be auctioned for charity. The truck in question is the very first 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition VIN 001. The pickup is the very first of the 702 Launch Edition models that were produced.

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is an off-road truck packing a 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat engine that makes 702 horsepower and 650 pound-foot of torque. The V8 is fitted with an 8-speed automatic transmission and features permanent four-wheel drive.

Ram trucks have announced a new special edition pickup celebrating the first mass-production 4×4 its predecessor created 75 years ago. The 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition. The truck features a unique black mesh grille with a gunmetal Ram logo.

The guys at Hennessey have put out some crazy vehicles over the years, including the VelociRaptor 6×6 and Goliath 6×6 pickups with dual axles in the rear. The company is now gearing up to produce its most insane pickup ever called the Mammoth 6×6.

A few years back, I had the opportunity to check out the Ram Rebel TRX Concept at the Chicago Auto Show Concept and Technology Garage, where I gazed upon its shiny red trimmings, and enveloped my ears in its impressive exhaust note.

RAM understands that there are many people out there who want to buy a truck but can’t afford the soaring prices of the latest and greatest models. When it rolled out its more expensive fifth-generation RAM 1500 pickup, it continued to sell the fourth-generation truck at a reduced price, under the moniker “RAM 1500 Classic.”

The word “rebel” has some deep-rooted placements in automotive history as well as film (RIP James Dean). And, if I do say so, it’s an awesome name for a trim of a vehicle that does its own thing and really sticks out with personality and excitement.

The current lineup of Ram trucks are some of the best looking, most comfortable, and versatile pickups on the market. For the 2020 model year, there are two new cosmetic packages for those looking for a more sporty look.

Ram has announced that its third-gen EcoDiesel 3.0L V6 engine will debut in Q4 2019. The engine will be available in all Ram 1500 models, meaning that Ram Rebel buyers can get diesel power for the first time.
