2021 GMC Canyon AT4 Off-Road Performance Edition Goes on Sale This Year

GMC has revealed a new higher-performing version of its already capable mid-size Canyon AT4 pickup. The new version is the 2021 GMC Canyon AT4 Off-Road Performance Edition, and it builds on the foundation set by the standard AT4. The pickup gets 31-inch Goodyear Wrangler tires, an off-road-tuned suspension package, Advanced Hill Descent Control System, and an Eaton G80 Rear Automatic Locking Differential.

The Performance Off-Road edition of the truck adds to the standard features a suspension leveling kit, rocker panel protectors, and performance front- and mid-skid plates. GMC also removes the front air dam to increase the truck’s approach angle by 35 percent to nearly 30 degrees.

Other unique touches for the Canyon AT4 Off-Road Performance Edition include unique 17-inch gloss black wheels, carbon black AT4 logos, and gloss black performance exhaust tip. The package also comes with a spray-in bedliner and accessory floor liners. Pricing is unannounced, but the regular AT4 starts in the mid $30,000 range. Order banks will open later this year, and with the year almost over, that likely means sometime in December.
